Administrative Assistant
Our dynamic Group of companies is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Vernon Office. This individual would be responsible for ensuring the flow of information between our Head Office and Operations in the Vernon/Kelowna area. The successful candidate will be an outgoing individual, with a minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in an office setting.

Key Job Requirements:
- Answering the phone
- Handling incoming and outgoing courier packages
- Issuing purchase orders
- Monitoring and upkeeping of drivers and vehicle records
- Gathering payroll time sheets and vacation requests
- Assisting the Operations Manager with Administrative Tasks
- Working closely with Head Office on vehicle and driver compliance.
- Excellent analytical, strong problem-solving skills and trouble-shooting ability. A mature self-starter who assumes ownership of problems and identifies creative solutions.
- Strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Database Systems.
- Exceptional communications skills both written and verbal.
- Detail and deadline oriented with proven ability to “think outside of the box.”
- Thrive in a fast-paced business environment with the ability to problem solve.
- Strong Safety background
- Prior Experience in Transportation and Driver & Vehicle Compliance considered an asset.
