HVAC Supervisor

Position Summary:
HVAC Supervisor will be responsible for site supervision, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring smooth execution of HVAC projects like chilled water systems installation and maintenance. This includes monitoring progress, inspecting materials, handling work inspection requests (WIR), overseeing commissioning, tracking attendance, and ensuring project compliance with technical and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of HVAC systems, such as chilled water systems, on project sites.
- Coordinate between subcontractors, technicians, and engineers to ensure effective workflow and project execution.
- Attend project meetings and work closely with the project team to address any issues that arise.
- Supervise all activities related to chilled water piping, pumps, valves, and associated HVAC components.
- Ensure that all installations and repairs comply with technical specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
- Track and monitor the progress of chilled water system works to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
- Ensure all works are performed in accordance with approved designs and project specifications.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of subcontractors involved in chilled water system installations and repairs.
- Provide guidance and troubleshooting to subcontractors to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Inspect materials (pipes, fittings, insulation, etc.) delivered to the site, ensuring they meet project requirements.
- Prepare and manage work inspection requests (WIR) and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of chilled water systems, ensuring they operate at optimum efficiency.
- Identify and resolve any issues during commissioning, ensuring the system meets design and performance standards.
- Monitor and record attendance of site workers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices for chilled water systems on the job site.
- Ensure all work complies with local laws, industry standards, and company safety policies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the project manager on site progress and any challenges faced.
- Communicate effectively with the project team, management, and clients to ensure all stakeholders are informed about the project's status.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in supervising HVAC projects or a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge of chilled water systems, including piping, pumps, valves, and associated HVAC components.
