Position Summary: We are hiring a Project Manager to oversee HVAC projects, with a specific focus on chilled water systems. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of project execution —planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance — while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities:
Lead HVAC project execution, including the installation, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC systems such as chilled water systems.
Develop project timelines and resource plans to ensure efficient allocation of materials, labor, and equipment.
Manage and coordinate teams of engineers, subcontractors, and technicians, ensuring seamless communication and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, develop budgets, and monitor project expenditures to ensure financial control.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Oversee subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
Monitor progress, conduct inspections, and ensure all work meets industry standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
Identify risks, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement solutions to meet project deadlines.
Prepare and present progress reports, budget updates, and work inspection requests (WIR) to senior management.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover to ensure optimal system performance and smooth client acceptance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
5-8 years of experience managing HVAC projects, particularly involving chilled water systems, pumps, valves, and related components.
PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
CRPEP license in Bahrain is a plus.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chilled water piping, installation standards, cost estimation, and budgeting.
