Workforce Planner
For our Support Office locatd at Sydney International Airport we are looking for a workforce Planner. Reporting to the Workforce PLanning Manager the Workforce Planner is responsible for the short and long term planning and intra-day management of service levels and all employees within the Retail Area. The output will consist of detailed workforce planning/rosters, accurate reporting, real time management and timely, quality activity, enabling optimal resource utilisation, and consistent customer satisfaction on the floor.
Your new job includes
- Real time management of resources - receive and action requests for personnel by management/suppliers
- Rostering including leave requests and unplanned absences
- Accurate maintenance of rosters and database
- Coordinate rosters and conduct shift confirmation, publish rosters in a timely manner
- Generate, format and distribute Workforce Reporting to leaders
- Ensure any adjustment of timesheets are processed and liaise with the payroll service to ensure the data sent for the pay cycle are correct
What you should bring along
- 2 years’ experience in workforce planning in a retail environment is preferred
- Understanding of employee relations and interpreting retail employment legislation and Enterprise Agreements
- Strong ability to build relationships within the business and manage and influence stakeholders effectively
- Experience working with and managing time and attendance software e.g. Time2Work, UKG, Tambla
- Experience in producing reports and analysing data within a retail environment
- Friendly and professional communication, interpersonal and customer focused
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and organise daily tasks
- Strong administrative computer skills including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong time management skills, being able to multi-task and prioritise workload
