Primary objective
The objective of the position is to assist the Alice Springs Workshop Manager and NTP Fleet Manager with the
management and processing of supplier invoices, workshop job cards, accident reports and associated journaling of costs
of repairs associated with the maintenance of frontline emergency vehicles in the southern region of the NT.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Responsible for the processing and payment of all incoming supplier invoices for NTP Fleet.
2. Responsible for the processing of completed workshop job cards and associated cost recovery via weekly journals.
3. Processing of NTG Credit Card payment to vendors
4. Responsible for the compilation and assignment of new Purchase Orders for use by workshop staff.
5. Manage the vehicle loan pool assigned to Alice Springs
6. Workshop administrative tasks as directed by the Workshop Manager
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
2. Proven ability of ensuring high levels of customer service, and ability to engage effectively with people from diverse
backgrounds and tactfully handle customer interactions.
3. Ability to create and acquit purchase orders and pay accounts with a corporate credit card and process associated
invoices.
4. Undertake the purchasing and re-ordering of parts and consumables on Corporate Credit Card or on account.
5. Strong understanding of the use of common operating systems such as MS Word and MS Excel.
6. NT Driver’s license with manual endorsement
