Information Division is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join our Testing Centre of Excellence (COE). The Capability Delivery Branch is responsible for delivering ICT products, including business applications, commercial off-the-shelf products and networks and infrastructure projects. Our testers play an important role in providing testing support across both project and sustainment activities.
In this role you will collaborate with various multi-disciplinary teams to deliver a range of software development projects, including Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Portal technologies. You will be responsible for maintaining the test suite in Azure Dev Ops and adhering to established testing standards. We operate in a fast-paced environment and are looking for an enthusiastic and professional tester with a strong attention to detail. Experience in both manual and automated testing will be highly regarded as we are working to establish our automation testing capabilities. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to plan and execute tests based on both business and technical requirements, ensuring comprehensive testing coverage that adheres to digital service standards, accessibility, and usability guidelines. You should have a keen eye for detail to ensure test cases cover all aspects of system functionality to ensure that defects are not missed. They will have the ability to analyse complex systems and business problems, and possess strong problem-solving skills to identify, diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
As a member of the Testing COE you will actively contribute to process improvements in the quality assurance space including developing standards in line with best practice.

The successful candidate should have skills and experience in:
The various types of testing including system, Integration, Regression, Performance and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Testing business applications including portals and off the shelf products such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Service Now.
Documenting and reporting test results using Azure Dev Ops including creating detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts and executing against complex test cases.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team and collaborating with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
Actively participate in scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint review, sprint retrospective and daily stand ups.
The Digital Service Standard, including an awareness of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Experience using COTS Test Automation tools such as Ui Path, Tosca or UFT is desirable
Programming concepts including control structures, data structures, debugging and adherence to best practice.
Qualifications and work experience
3 years experience undertaking system and integration testing of large-scale systems, using manual and/or automated testing methods
