Support Worker – Generalist

Casual Opportunities in Bay & Basin, Nowra, Ulladulla and Berry Areas
Are you a dedicated and experienced Disability Support Worker seeking new opportunities?
Interchange Shoalhaven is actively looking for compassionate and skilled individuals to join their team and support people (children and adults) with disabilities and their carers across the Shoalhaven region.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to individuals with varying needs.
Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and hygiene.
Support participants in achieving their personal goals and engaging in community activities.
Deliver services tailored to the unique needs and goals of participants, including in-home, centre-based respite, groups and programs, and community activities.
Collaborate with a passionate team to empower individuals with disabilities in the community.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Looking for applicants who have availability in these key service times:

AM: from 7:00
PM: 2:30 – 10:00pm
Overnight/Sleepovers
Weekends

Requirements:

Certificate III in Disability (essential criteria).
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Working with Children Check.
First Aid Certificate.
NSW Driver’s License.

Desirable:

Crisis Prevention Intervention - MAPA/CPI - De-escalation training.
