Description
The role of a Security Officer is to provide maximum security and safety for all persons and assets within Dreamworld, White Water World and Sky Point. The role will be predominantly based at the Dreamworld site. This may involve a variety of duties such as gatehouse, front-entry, as well as in-park and licensed area security duties. It also will involve emergency response, patrols and static duties.
We seek friendly, customer focused security professionals with a ‘can-do’ approach who will thrive in our ‘FUN’ and unique environment, whilst proactively responding to a variety of situations as they arise.

Please note that Casuals are employed by the hour for the hour on an ‘as needs basis’.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will be an approachable and outgoing personality who meets the below criteria:
- Have exceptional communication skills;
- Be approachable and outgoing;
- Have technical proficiency with using computer based systems;
- Ability to work efficiently whilst under pressure;
- Exceptional presentation standards;
- Previous Security experience is essential; and
- Availability to work range of shifts across 24/7 roster (including weekends, late and overnight, peak periods).
