THE ROLE
Are you passionate about creating safe environments for children and young people? Do you have an interest in Workplace Health and Safety? We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to join our team.
As the Safety Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing systems and incident reporting, formalising procedures, and supporting our staff members, all to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. You'll be the first responder to both major and minor incidents, working in a supportive team environment. Full training will be provided for our incident management systems and safeguarding procedures for children and young people.
You will also have opportunities to grow, contributing to various projects and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) compliance initiatives. With over 50 sites across South Australia, you'll gain a diverse range of experiences while fostering a culture of safety throughout our organisation.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
- National Police Check (NPC) – Certificate must be within six (6) months from date of issue
- International police check - for applicants who have lived or worked overseas in the past five (5) years
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
While any relevant qualifications or experience are beneficial, we can train the right candidate who brings a great attitude to the importance of safety and safeguarding children and young people.

This is a full-time role, predominantly located in Head Office – Adelaide CBD. Salary expectations are $65,000 - $70,000 depending on skills and experience.
