We are seeking an experienced leader to manage and drive our program delivery activities in the NT. Reporting to the General Manager, SA and NT, and leading an energised, and passionate team, this role will responsible for the implementation of current and pilot programs including our Learning for Life (LFL) scholarship program.

As a senior leader based in the NT, the Regional Programs Manager (RPM) contributes to our strategic objectives in program management and delivery, including building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders educational space in the NT. The RPM will also be heavily involved in coaching and mentoring to develop capability across a geographically dispersed team.


About our role

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivery of programs in accordance with Policy and Program Framework
  • Leading a geographically dispersed team
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of program delivery models.
  • Participating in and lead State/Territory team planning and performance reporting, including programs, revenue, and budget
  • Liaising with the General Manager and other national policy and program managers regarding significant State/Territory opportunities and risk issues
  • Managing a broad set of relationships within a complex organisational structure


About you


You are a results-driven professional with experience in program delivery, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement. Your background in working with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, and your strong people leadership skills will set you up for success. As well as passion for community, you will bring the following:

  • Relevant tertiary level qualification or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience in managing quality program implementation
  • Ability to manage complex relationships and lead geographically dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and developing a high performing team
  • Demonstrated experience delivering programs to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
  • Financial Management within a project management framework
  • Demonstrated experience in working with disadvantaged/marginalised groups and communities
  • Presentation and facilitation skills
  • Have or willing to obtain an employee Working With Children's Check
