About the role
The primary function of the Purchasing Officer role is the procurement functions for the Calvary Kogarah Hospital. The additional functions involve the hospital fleet and communication system.
About you
Ability to demonstrate knowledge of mainframe purchasing systems such as Finance one/Oracle etc.
High level of written and oral communication skills.
Sound knowledge of procurement techniques and controls.
Ability to identify and recommend improvement in processing and procurement techniques.
Understanding of department of commerce Smart buy.
Proven ability to negotiate with vendors on products to achieve the lowest total cost to CHCK.
Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
