Project Portfolio Management Solution Lead

Location – Parramatta
Employment type - Ongoing
Salary – Clerk Grade 11/12, $139,787 to $161,663 p.a., plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

The Project & Portfolio Management (PPM/PS) Solution Lead is responsible for the solution design for PPM & Projects functional areas across SAP and is responsible for the process and experience design for the whole of government my Work Zone solution. The PPM/PS Solution Lead is responsible for the identification of opportunities to harmonise policies, processes, and data models that minimise the level of solution customisation, while ensuring solutions meet diverse business requirements.
The PPM/PS Solution Lead brings SAP Functional and business expertise in solution and process design to work closely to influence and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders across all agencies to drive meaningful change and improvements that enhance harmonisation and program outcomes.

What you’ll do

Your role is to:
  • Drive Solution Design: Lead the creation and delivery of artefacts that support solution design and adoption, identifying interdependencies and leveraging resources to maximize efficiency and achieve organizational goals.
  • Oversee Projects: Lead and manage all aspects of project development and implementation.
  • Optimize Processes: Analyze, evaluate, and develop best practices to ensure efficient delivery of internal and external services under the my Work Zone solution.
  • Advise Leadership: Provide proactive, evidence-based advice and reports to the Director and/or Group Director, ensuring the proposed solution meets business requirements, identifies change impacts, and considers sustainability.
  • Document Processes: Lead the implementation and adoption of solutions through detailed process documentation.
  • Collaborate on Design Issues: Work closely with ERP Support and Operations to address design issues.

  • Discuss and agree on design objectives, outcomes, priorities, and resources with the Group Director, Director, and other stakeholders.
  • Keep up with the latest best practices, government policies, and statutory requirements.
