Where you’ll be working The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

What you’ll be doing The primary purpose of the role is to undertake responsibilities within divisional projects and initiatives to ensure achievement of the Clinical Trials Program objectives.

Essential requirements
Demonstrated relevant experience in health program planning and project management, including utilising project management tools.
Tertiary qualifications in Public Health or in a related discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience.
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality reports, correspondence, and briefing papers and capacity to write evaluation reports.
High level oral and written communication, interpersonal, consultation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new systems
Sound understanding of the health system in NSW and the Commonwealth
If successful for interview, candidates must bring original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to panel.

Describe a project you have supported or undertaken where you were responsible for delivering milestones and monitoring project activity. Explain what tools you used to monitor the project’s milestones. How did you communicate the achievements and challenges? How did you engage with stakeholders?
