ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Products, the Project Coordinator provides project management
services to support the progress of new products through the Jacana Energy Product Development
Framework to achieve strategic business objectives. In addition, the Project Coordinator ensures
all initiatives are managed according to the Product Development Framework governance
providing initial project management on new product initiatives delivery and/or launch.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
What you will be doing:
1. Provide effective project management of multiple deliverables concurrently, ensuring
activities are managed efficiently and effectively, and the delivery of high-quality outcomes is
realised within set budget parameters, agreed scope and timeframes.
2. Establish and coordinate project teams and collaborate with internal and external project
stakeholders to ensure accountabilities are clear, and project deliverables and milestones are
achieved.
3. Manage key suppliers for the technical delivery of the project in line with agreed commercial
agreements and Jacana Energy’s Procurement Management methodology.
4. Monitor progress against project plan, and compile monthly reports detailing progress
against project KPIs including cost, time, milestones, management of risks etc.
5. Develop and maintain a set of processes, tools and project artefacts that support Product
Development Framework governance and record- keeping and are suitable for the project
execution.
6. Comply with the NTPS and Jacana Energy’s Code of Conduct, NTPS and Jacana Energy,
corporate values and strategies, policies, and procedures as well as other relevant regulatory
guidelines.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The ideal candidate must have:
1. Demonstrated project coordination skills and experience in delivering assigned projects or
project tasks within scope, schedule, and budget.
2. Ability to work effectively under limited supervision and manage competing priorities and
timeframes.
3. Good stakeholder engagement and the ability to maintain excellent working relationships with
cross-functional project teams and facilitate working groups.
4. Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels of stakeholders, including the
ability to present findings and recommendations to senior leaders and to adjust interaction
style to suit a range of business, technical and community audiences.
5. Proven high level of adaptability, flexibility, and resilience, including the ability to manage
pressure and change.
6. Commitment to providing a high standard of customer service and operating within the Jacana
Energy corporate values of Diversity, Innovation, Honesty, Teamwork and Wellbeing.
You may also have:
1. Project Management Qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant training/experience in Agile
or PMBOK
2. Renewable Energy Sector experience is highly desirable
