An excellent opportunity for full time Practice Manager is available at Bakewell Medical Centre, Bakewell NT. Our clinic is a well established, busy, mixed billing, group General Practice located about 5 minutes from the Palmerston City Centre and very close to the Palmerston Regional Hospital. We are a friendly team, providing holistic care to patients of all ages. We value teamwork in providing Quality medical care to our local community.
Qualifications & experience
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week

Qualifications & experience
- Participate in and implement Accreditation for the practice.
- Have experience with Pracsoft, Medical Director, and Xero reconciliation
- Know how to obtain provider numbers for new contractors.
- Work well with a variety of personalities, patients, and medical personnel.
- Have payroll, bookkeeping and IT knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with mixed billing.
- Maintain and control business finances using Xero.
- Managing the day to day requirements of the General Practice.
- Responsible for completing the rostering for staff members.
- Recruitment and development of staff.
- Management, development and performance review of staff.
- Ensure the practice is running safely according to the company's WHS and infection control standards.
- Implement work systems and procedures that increase productivity and ensure professionalism.
- Maintain computer hardware, software and all practice equipment in conjunction with suppliers.
- Maintain awareness of current and new legislation.
- Co-ordination of clinic meetings. Reception duties if needed.
Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
