About the role Reporting to the P&C Business Partnering Manager the P&C Business Partner at Activ supports operational leaders to deliver cyclical HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle, as well as drive HR initiatives through Operations, mitigating risk to the organisation, seeking partnering opportunities to build people capability while integrating strategic initiatives. A typical day in the role may look like:
Provide guidance on employment matters to Leaders within the business to enhance decision-making.
Conduct timely investigations into grievances and performance issues.
Oversee performance management process inline with P&C policies.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and cultural transformation.
Build constructive relationships to enhance HR's reputation and support organisational values.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience in HR / ER within a medium to large organisation
Strong understanding of employment related legislation and contemporary IR and HR practices
Ability to measure risk and act accordingly
Demonstrated stakeholder management skills
Tertiary qualification in Human Resource or other related discipline
