The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and agile National Account Executive to join our team. This role will play a key part in managing and growing our relationships with major national retailers. If you're passionate about building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and working collaboratively across teams, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Support & Performance Management: Assist in developing and implementing account-specific strategies to achieve sales targets and manage trade spend. Monitor account performance, analyze sales data, prepare forecasts, and support promotional activities to optimize sales effectiveness.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts in national retail accounts. Act as the main point of contact for daily account matters, resolve issues, identify growth opportunities, and participate in business reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Brand, Category, and Marketing teams to align product offerings with customer needs and market trends. Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Collect and analyze market data to identify trends, competitive insights, and customer needs. Prepare and present reports on account performance, market conditions, and sales forecasts, and recommend strategic adjustments based on your findings.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in sales or account management within the FMCG industry.
- Familiarity with managing retail accounts is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven team player with strong analytical skills to support strategic decision-making.
- Self-motivated with a track record of owning processes and delivering results.
