Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies.
  • Educating staff on best practices for clinical documentation and coding.
  • Analysing trends and providing insights to improve documentation processes and outcomes.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.


Qualifications/ Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Current Registration;
  • Certification as a Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS or CDIP) (preferred);
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, coding systems, and regulatory requirements;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
