Maintenance Planner - South-West Sydney

Ready to make a splash in your career? Water NSW is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner (Full Time) to join our team at Nepean in Bargo.
The role is to be responsible for planning and scheduling of maintenance activities for Water NSW sites to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the maintenance plan.

What you’ll do:
  • Developing a schedule of planned works within a region of Water NSW to ensure the maintenance program is delivered to keep assets compliant, meets the need of customers and reduce extraordinary financial costs.
  • Developing a regional outage plan and ensure other maintenance projects are planned and coordinated in line with the maintenance schedule.
  • Collaborating with internal and external customers and stakeholders to ensure availability of the assets and resources in order to deliver the maintenance work in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring data is analysed and Key Performance Indicators are reviewed utilising the appropriate analysis techniques, for the continuous improvement in the delivery of the maintenance plan.
  • Contributing to the development, review and monitoring of operating and capital budgets as required.


What we are looking for:
  • Relevant Mechanical (Fitter) or Electrical Trade Qualifications or Professional Qualifications – Prior Experience within a Water/Production Environment would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Current NSW Drivers License
  • Competent computer literacy around Microsoft Applications, Including Excel.
  • Experience with the use of computerised Maintenance Management Systems and in the development of outage plans.
  • Experience in the scheduling of maintenance jobs and resource management.
