Primary objective
Provide high level administrative functions in relation to the establishment and cessation of lawful interceptions. The timely review, evaluation
and recording of all incoming information as a result of electronic interceptions and other covert electronic surveillance and monitoring compliance
with relevant legislation.

The position is also responsible for the maintenance of logs, supervision and control of access to lawfully obtained.

Key duties and responsibilities
1. Monitoring, reviewing and accurately summarising intercepted information, both audio and visual, ensuring ongoing adherence to recording
and reporting requirements.
2. Undertake internal compliance monitoring activities to ensure the agencies compliance with legislative obligations in preparation for audits
and inspections undertaken by Commonwealth and Northern Territory Ombudsman Inspectors.
3. Ensure that material obtained and produced as a result of electronic interceptions is processed and reported in a timely manner, and in
accordance with legislative requirements.
4. Communicating information in accordance with legislative requirements and policy guidelines.
5. Performing legislated and other duties as directed.

Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience working in a confidential area and possess a high standard of personal integrity and high level of confidentiality.
2. Experience in office administration, records and information management and transcription of recorded materials.
3. Proven experience conducting compliance activities in a law enforcement, regulatory agency or similar field.
4. Demonstrated listening skills and the ability to review large amounts of information and provide a synopsis of key issues.
5. High level of interpersonal communication skills, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, establish priorities, set and maintain
deadlines and use initiative.
6. Proven ability to work under pressure, in a team environment and have the flexibility to work extended and irregular.
1. hours, with the ability to work a 24/7 roster, inclusive of weekends and Public Holidays.
7. Well-developed computer and technology literacy, with demonstrated experience in the operation of the Microsoft Office suite of
applications and the ability to use or quickly learn to use, specialist IT systems.
8. Possess, or the ability to obtain and maintain a negative VET 2 National Security Clearance.
Desirable
1. Administrative experience in a Police organisation or similar.
2. Previous or current experience in a similar role.
3. Tertiary qualification in compliance or related field.

This is a shift-work position; the successful applicant will be required to workday, afternoon, night and weekend shifts. The successful applicant
