Primary objective
Provide high level administrative support to the NT Police and Crime Stoppers Board through information management and distribution of
time critical information to relevant criminal investigative and operational areas.

Crime Stoppers is the nation’s most trusted information receiving service for people wanting to share what they know about unsolved
crimes and suspicious activity while remaining anonymous.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Co-ordinate the development, compilation and distribution of Information Reports received by Crime Stoppers.
2. Attend local meetings including community engagement events.
3. Maintain accurate records of information received by Crime Stoppers and prepare reports including the identification
and drafting of reward recommendations.
4. Monitor the Crime Stoppers NT website and internal and external media promotions for Crime Stoppers, especially during major
campaigns.
5. Provide training and ongoing support to Crime Stoppers call takers in the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre to ensure
the inputting of accurate reports.
6. Provide ongoing administration support to the Territory Intelligence Division.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated administrative and analytical skills with attention to detail when interpreting and inputting data.
2. Demonstrated experience using Excel Spreadsheets.
3. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills to enable effective communication with stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize commitments and meet critical competing deadlines while maintaining quality
standards.
5. The ability to obtain a National Security Clearance NV1.
Desirable
1. A demonstrated understanding of intelligence principles and high proficiency in the use of current NT Police information and
mainframe systems.
2. A formal training qualification, such as Cert IV in Training or a similar qualification.
