More about what you’ll do
Reporting to the Private & Exclusive Label Procurement Manager, the Import Coordinator will manage the timely replenishment of imported goods, ensuring inventory meets customer demand while following company policies and supplier agreements.
This role is a 12 Month Contract.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inventory Management: Monitor and forecast stock levels to ensure optimal availability, avoiding stockouts and overstock situations.
Purchase Order Management: Create, manage, and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities, costs, and delivery timelines.
Supplier Coordination: Liaise with international suppliers to confirm order details, shipping schedules, and lead times. Proactively address delays or discrepancies.
Shipping Management: Collaborate with freight forwarders to ensure timely product shipment and delivery, while maintaining accurate import documentation.
Stock Transfers: Manage overstock and coordinate smooth stock transfers between distribution centres.
Ad hoc Work: Occasionally assist with additional tasks outside primary responsibilities.

Proven experience in inventory management and shipping.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with international suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
