As HR Systems and Process Coordinator, you will Specifically:
- Lead and coordinate a team to facilitate the centres rostering, payroll and establishment management processes in order to meet operational requirements of the detention centres. This will be consistent with the approved staff establishment including monitoring the centre's use of staff compared to establishment levels and approved leave management arrangements.
- Oversee the centres HR systems including input into evaluations, continuous improvement and training and support for staff and system administrators.
- Maintain records relating to the centres establishment management, rostering and payroll processes in accordance with the relevant legislation, policy and/orstandards.
- Coordinate and ensure the accurate and timely completion of compliance, audit and quality assurance process relating to rostering and payroll functions.Monitor fortnightly schedules of overtime, higher duties and other workforce arrangements and provide feedback and advice to the management teams.
- Liaise and consult with the management team on workforce planning issues and liaise as required with operational workgroups on matters of payroll and human resource administrative functions.
- Prepare submissions, reports, correspondence and executive briefs on significant human resource issues.
- Deliver high level solutions that contribute to the organisational objectives and contribute to projects as necessary to improve rostering and payroll services.
- Contribute to the evaluation of human resources services and initiatives to ensure that these are directed to supporting the department's business outcomes.
