Job Description
About the role The Skilled Production Technician is a member of the Manufacturing Group and is required to Assemble and/or Test various Mechanical, Electrical and Opto-mechanical products in safe and efficient manner as per the specified MPI’s (Manufacturing Process Instructions). Primary Duties:
Assemble, Modify, test and Inspect Assemblies and finished product in accordance with established quality, operation standards and manufacturing process instruction to meet Production Targets.
Use MES (Manufacturing Execution System) to carry out the daily Production activities in line with the Production Targets.
Use ARAS (Technical Database) to reference technical documentation to complete daily Production tasks. ARAS is the EOSDS (Technical Database) for Assembly Drawings, MPI’s etc. Information from ARAS allows Production to maintain established EOSDS Quality Standards.
Complete relevant documentation to ensure traceability and accountability, i.e. Job Cards, Level 2 Test Documents etc on a timely basis.
Monitor and report any quality issues to the direct Cell Lead / Production Supervisor and/or Manufacturing Manager.
Monitor and report any WHS or security issues to the direct Cell Lead / Production Supervisor and/or Manufacturing Manager.

Experience working with ARAS (PLM – Engineering database) & MES – EPICOR (ERP SYSTEM) is desirable.
Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role with will be preferred.
