Night Host (Live-In) - The Village Canberra Role Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable and guest-focused Night Host to join our team, living on-site and providing support for two nights a week. During these nights, you will be on call to respond to any guest inquiries, emergencies, or concerns that may arise. Your goal is to ensure our guests have a smooth and enjoyable stay, even after hours. In addition, you will take on one housekeeping shift per week to assist in keeping our property clean and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
Be on call for two nights a week to address guest needs, including check-ins, resolving concerns, and maintaining safety.
Respond promptly to any after-hours issues or emergencies.
Assist with housekeeping duties for one daytime shift each week, ensuring guest rooms and common areas are kept to a high standard.
Collaborate with the daytime team to ensure seamless guest service.
Uphold the property’s safety and security standards, including basic monitoring during on-call hours.
Requirements:
Ability to handle guest requests calmly and efficiently, even in late-night situations.
Flexibility and willingness to manage both guest relations and housekeeping tasks.
Comfortable living on-site and being the point of contact for guests during on-call nights.
Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or housekeeping is preferred.
