Reporting to the Village Manager, t his position is 5/2 drive in / drive out roster and is responsible for providing a consistent, quality grounds keeping service to our guests and customers, including basic maintenance work, grounds maintenance and garbage collection. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver excellent facilities services in a timely manner consistent with all quality standards and service level agreements with minimum disruption to our guests and customers.
General repairs and maintenance of site grounds, facilities, buildings, and general gardening duties
Regular collection and maintenance of waste throughout the site
Keep all work areas, workshops, tools, and vehicles in a tidy, safe and professional condition.
Facilitate and maintain a safe environment for our guests and customers.
To be successful, you will have:
Minimum 1 years’ experience in a maintenance or trades assistant role, preferably in the hospitality industry
LF Forklift Licence
Experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment.
Knowledge of equipment routinely used (e.g. ride on & push mowers, whipper snipper, blower vac)
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Proof of working rights within Australia
Valid National Police Check
Current Driver’s Licence
Remote work experience (highly regarded)
