We have an opportunity for a Assistant Facilities Manage based in Sydney
The Assistant Facilities Manager will support the Facilities Manager in administering the tactical delivery for the assigned properties and be the key point of contact for Evolve FM clients in the absence of the Facilities Manager
Major responsibilities include:
Client and Stakeholder Management
Procurement and Vendor Management
Finance Management
Health and Safety Management
Site Operations Management
Risk Management
About you ...
We are always on the lookout for motivated self-starters with a proven track record of successfully delivering best practice and quality to the organisation, your team and clients, who thrive on building relationships and providing service excellence.
Proactive with a keen eye for detail and the ability to balance multiple priorities, while possessing a can-do attitude; ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in facilities, property management, or related field
An understanding of basic technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, Building Management System)
Knowledge of vendor management for specialised services
Strong verbal and written communication skills, also an active listener
Excellent communications skills, and is adept in managing a diverse group of stakeholders effectively.
Ability to be able to use work order management systems
Have a clearance to work with Children in NSW or ability to obtain one.
Knowledge of WHS requirements
Excellent problem-solving skills
Stakeholder management – including contractors
Experience working in a similar environment to Schools Infrastructure NSW is desirable
