What this job involves:
Responsibility for the delivery of Facilities Management services across the national rural and remote site portfolios or locations where clients do not have embedded staff, including managing service contracts, related budgets and tenant liaison to facilitate works.
We are seeking casual experienced Facilities Managers to proactively manage the relationship with our client and service providers to ensure service delivery expectations are exceeded! The role provides high level support to the Facilities Management team in an operational, financial, project, administrative and customer service capacity.
You will be working alongside the Account Team and co-ordinate the operational management of our clients’ facilities to ensure the appropriate and efficient operation of all physical aspects, which encompasses safe and productive environments for the occupants.
A snapshot of the role:
Areas of focus for this position include planned and preventative maintenance works, contractor management, compliance, operational expenditure, tenancy delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Proactively develop and manage the relationship with the client to ensure service delivery expectations are exceeded to facilitate works.
Responsibilities include special projects, Client Account Team relief, inspections, mechanical, electrical, fire & security systems maintenance, cleaning & waste management, energy management, occupational health & safety management, supplier management, Emergency Response, capital works projects and financial management & reporting against agreed budgets.
Schedule and manage building preventative maintenance programs.
Ensure compliance to all Essential Services, Building Code of Australia, Australian Standards, Disability Discrimination Act, Occupational Health Safety & Environment, Environment and Risk Management Policies and Procedures and all other relevant regulations.
Complete general maintenance condition and asset condition evaluations to assist both short- & long-term property asset management.

You will have exceptional interpersonal & customer service skills and experience working across remote sites will be looked upon favourably.
You’ll be a strong communicator, with excellent presentation skills and have a passion for quality.
Have experience in facilities management through your prior roles gaining technical skills, OH&S, vendor management and a basic understanding of the technical aspects of property.
You must be able to manage external providers and liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll be familiar with working in Excel, Word, Outlook and it is preferred that you have experience working with an FM software platform
