An exciting opportunity has become available for suitable candidates to provide individualized care and support to participants in their houses and meet their goals. As a Disability Support Worker, your responsibilities will include the following:
Providing personal care such as showering, dressing and grooming to Participants
Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, household cleaning and laundry.
Provide social and transportation support, including driving Participants to medical appointments and assisting with grocery shopping.
Candidate must be able to work varied shifts, seven days per week, with varying shift hours. Flexible roster.
Selection Criteria:
Experience in the community health sector(Minimum of 1 year experience as support worker essential
Certificate III or IV in Community Services /Disability/Aged Care.
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Current National Police Clearance no more than 12 months old
Current Full Driver’s License
Current Covid-19 Immunisation Certificate
NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain )
