About your role:
- Lead, develop and manage a multidisciplinary team of clinical informaticians, application specialists, data analysts and digital health trainers as well as will be professionally responsible for Allied Health positions within the Office of the Chief Information Officer.
- Provide strategic direction and management across the Digital Health Clinical Service (DHCS) which operates across CHHHS, including applying high level clinical knowledge and informatics expertise to advocate authoritatively for DHCS across CHHHS and State-wide basis in the strategic planning and implementation of digital health initiatives.
- Evaluate, monitor and address risks relating to the provision and use of digital clinical services within the responsibility of the position, in consultation with the leadership teams and the Quality Patient Safety Team within the CHHHS and escalate when necessary at a statewide level.
- Provide effective leadership and high level negotiation and conflict management skills to facilitate collaboration and consensus building across clinical and technical stakeholders to ensure that existing content and proposed changes to the system are appropriate for a state-wide digital platform (from a geographical, demographic and clinical professional standpoint).
- Accountable for development and promoting the use of informatics to reduce harm to patients via implementation of information systems, processes and tools that are designed to ensure the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards that drive the care patients receive.
