Digital Copywriter (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

The Role
Big Red Group is undergoing an exciting digital transformation, and we're gearing up for a delivery milestone. We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, creating engaging and SEO-optimised product content to inspire our customers.
At the moment, this role is focused on:

Content Creation: Write compelling and creative product descriptions that are both engaging and tailored to our audience, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
SEO Optimisation: Ensure all product content is optimised for search engines, incorporating keywords and meta descriptions to improve organic search rankings.
Product Listings: Collaborate with the Digital Content and Product teams to deliver accurate and descriptive product listings, bringing to life the experience and enticing customers to purchase. High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Brand Voice: Adhere to brand tone of voice guidelines.
Content Review & Improvement: Continuously review and refine product copy, working with the broader team to ensure the highest quality and relevance.

What We're Looking For

Experience: Proven experience in copywriting, within e Commerce or digital environments.
SEO Expertise: Familiarity with SEO best practices and how to implement them into product content.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in grammar, spelling, and overall quality of content.
Creative Writing Skills: Ability to write engaging and persuasive copy that resonates with a diverse audience.
Collaboration: A team player who can collaborate across functions and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. You will be based within the transformation project team
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and open to feedback and iterations.
