Remuneration up $326,072 p.a.
We are looking for an exceptional General Practitioner to lead our Minor Injury and Illness and Virtual Acute Care teams as Medical Director.
SCHHS Salary includes:
- Base salary comprising of between $87.25 - $120.51 p.h.
- Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
- L18 - L24 - $21,000 p.a.
- L25 - $25,500 p.a.
- Clinical Managers Allowance $21,028 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)
- Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 35% of base salary
- Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)

- You may be eligible to receive $10,000 (less tax) on the first available pay period (pro-rata rate for part-time employees will apply)

The role of the Medical Director, Minor Injury and Illness Clinic (MIIC) and Virtual Acute Care Service (VACS) is to provide high quality clinical and non-clinical leadership and direction to benefit the patients accessing urgent care services in the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS). Additionally, the innovative Virtual Acute Care Service (VACS) provides virtual acute outpatient care throughout the SCHHS district in collaboration with internal and external partners.
In addition to your clinical and professional expertise, you must have skills in managing people, leadership and sustainable financial decision accountability.
