Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking experienced Visiting Medical Officers
to join our team at our team at Canterbury Hospital
We are looking for a Visiting Medical Officer in Orthopaedic Surgery! The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic, consultative and surgical specialty services in Orthopaedic Surgery, desirably with hip and knee expertise, and to participate in on-call rosters, teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Orthopaedic Department and Hospital as required.
The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgery (FRACS) with recognised qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
