It has a total area of 1,605 square kilometres with a coastline of approximately 10km. We are a progressive local government authority employing approximately 150 dedicated employees.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Team Leader Governance Services, this role is responsible for driving continuous improvement across the organisation while ensuring Council meets all regulatory reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will have bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field or related discipline and demonstrated knowledge of corporate reporting principles, preferably in a Local Government environment, recent experience in business process improvement and corporate reporting, and experience in Lean, Kaisen, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
To succeed in the role, you will have the ability to analyse issues from different perspectives, draw sound inferences from information available and to propose workable solutions, demonstrated project management and process improvement skills, and attention to detail and accuracy in work processes.

Annual salary of $81,855 to $93,323 (plus super).
