NSW - Parramatta
The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract development, negotiation, and management within the NSW Network Infrastructure sector. This role is critical in ensuring that all contractual obligations are met while minimising risk and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including service agreements, procurement contracts, vendor agreements, and project-specific contracts.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts, ensuring compliance with Australian telecommunications regulations, standards, and legal frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, procurement, and operations) and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers, subcontractors) to ensure contract terms align with business objectives.
- Oversee the implementation of contractual obligations, ensuring all parties fulfil their commitments. Manage contract amendments, variations, and renewals as required.
- Ensure all contracts adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Monitor changes in laws or regulations that may impact contract terms.
- Provide regular reports on contract performance, risks, and opportunities. Conduct financial analysis related to contractual agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and budget alignment.
- Address contract-related disputes and conflicts, working to resolve issues in a timely and amicable manner.
- Continuously improve contract management processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Telecommunications industry experience ideally in telecommunications infrastructure projects
- Proven track record in contract management
