About the position The Accounts Payable Officer is a hands-on role responsible for providing support to the Accounts Payable Team leader with responsibilities including accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, staff re-imbursements & travel reconciliations. Primary Duties: They key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with all aspects of the accounts payable cycle including timely processing of invoices, matching against purchase orders, processing supplier payments, reconciling supplier statements and producing required reports.
Resolving invoice issues with related stakeholders.
Managing the accounts payables mailbox for new invoices and attending to supplier queries promptly and professionally, escalating any unresolved issues as appropriate.
Preparation of employee reimbursements including receipt reconciliation, travel reconciliations and per diems.
Assistance to staff on general enquires related to creditors, reimbursements and general invoice status.
Process credit card expenses and managing receipts and reconciliations.
Assist with external audits for both half-year and full-year accounts.
Provision of support to the Finance Team and other duties as required from time to time.
About You To be successful in this role you will:
Have relevant Accounts Payable experience
Experience in Epicor or comparable finance ERP system would be advantageous
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work in a high-volume environment and have a high attention to detail.
Ability to manage tight timeframes by planning and prioritising tasks.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities- strong time management skills are essential.
Enjoys problem‐solving and seeking answers and solutions to issues.
Ability to prioritise workload and uses discretion to determine how to best achieve the required outcomes.
