The Role The Accounts Officer will work with the Finance team to ensure the preparing of timely and accurate reporting from the various finance sections including Accounts Payable and Receivable. The purpose of this role is to work with the Finance team to ensure the preparing of timely and accurate reporting from the various finance sections including Accounts Payable and Receivable. Key responsibilities for this role include:
Processing of invoices in using Workplace.
Performing cheque runs and EFT payments.
Perform monthly budget analysis and reviews.
Process and reconcile receipts and the daily bank statements
Receipt and bank money rising from invoices and credit notes as required.
Process transactions and maintain the accounts receivable ledger.
Perform monthly budget analysis and reviews.
Perform month end journal entries.
Manage monthly work papers.
The ideal applicant will have the qualities of:
Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and/or a web-based procurement system would be ideal but not essential.
