Welding Technician/Técnico de soldadura

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
Location: Arecibo PR
Pay rate: $11.25/hr
Shift: 2nd - 2:30 pm- 11:00 pm ,Monday to Friday
This position performs welding, repair, interpreting and applying specifications, drawings and graphs of the Welding area.

In This Function, You Will
-Apply appropriate processes for welding, fabrication or repair of parts made of metals or other materials.
-Use required measuring instruments and hand tools and comply with all safety rules.
-Place pieces in fixture.
-Carry out the process of measuring parts using equipment, such as: comparator, caliper and scan.
-Performs the startup (Setup) of the machines.
-Interpret and inspect parts according to established drawings and requirements and maintain inspection records required in the operation.
-Document and report production and scrap reports (daily and/or weekly, as applicable).
-Segregates and classifies materials.
-Inspects welding sub-assembly.
-Moves materials.
-Comply with security procedures.
Required Qualifications
-Education: High School.
-Welding Certification.
-Experience: Two (2) (related experience).
-Valid driver's license.

-Know how to read and apply work order specifications, blueprints, sketches, etc.
-Excellent interpersonal relationships.
-Punctuality and responsibility in your work area.
-Ability and manual skills.
