Job Title: Valet Parking Attendant
Location: East Side Grill Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701
Position Type: Full-time/Part-time
Reports To: Manager on Duty
Job Summary:
As a Valet Parking Attendant, you will provide exceptional customer service by efficiently and safely parking and retrieving vehicles for guests. You will be the first and last impression of our establishment, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
● Customer Service:
○ Greet guests promptly upon their arrival and departure.
○ Provide courteous and professional service, addressing any questions or concerns.
○ Offer assistance with luggage and provide directions or information about the facility.
● Vehicle Handling:
○ Safely park and retrieve vehicles in designated areas.
○ Adhere to all driving and parking regulations.
○ Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the valet area and parking lots.
● Efficiency and Accuracy:
○ Ensure quick and accurate vehicle retrieval to minimize guest wait times.
○ Keep track of vehicle keys and ensure they are securely stored.
○ Record vehicle information and issue claim tickets to guests.
● Safety and Security:
○ Conduct vehicle inspections upon arrival to note any pre-existing damage.
○ Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or damage to vehicles.
○ Report any incidents, accidents, or suspicious activities to management.
Qualifications:
● Education:
○ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
● Experience:
○ Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
○ Prior valet or driving experience is a plus.
● Skills:
○ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
○ Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
○ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Requirements:
○ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
○ Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
○ Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
○ Professional appearance and demeanor.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
● Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
● Ability to navigate parking lots and structures safely and efficiently.
