This position is based at our New Britain Connecticut distribution center
conveniently located at 7 Veterans Drive, New Britain, CT 06051.

Connecticut Tire Distributors serves professional organizations in the fast and furious automotive industry. We house one of New England's largest and most complete stock of replacement OE and aftermarket tires under our roof in New Britain, CT. We have been providing daily delivery throughout Connecticut and Western Mass for the past 50 plus years and counting. Family owned and operated since 1967. Small "family like" organization running as a team to make a safe work environment for all our teammates while creating the best customer experience possible.

What will your work day look like?

Pull and stage items for delivery and will calls
Load & unload product
Assist in all warehouse duties including restocking warehouse
Make deliveries to customers, vendors, or other warehouse locations
Keep your ride and work areas clean
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, tire pickers, and lift trucks
Eat, sleep and drink safety

$17.00 per hour base pay

What we need from you?

Warehouse experience (2 year continuous)
Delivery experience (2 years Continuous)
Forklift operation experience (2 years minimum & previously certified)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Prior truck operating experience (pickup truck, box truck)
Able to pass a background check
Must pass pre employment physical and drug screening
Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds
Physically capable to sit, stand, walk, stoop or kneel most of the day
