Salary: $17.85-$21.00 per hour (DOE) / Additional Differentials Must Qualify

Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish: $1.00 per hour
Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $1.00 per hour
Bimodal Multilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $2.00 per hour
Overview:
Provides supervision and care for each participant and their child(ren) in the residential setting and the field, under the supervision of the Program Supervisor or the Program Manager. Provides cross-setting care and supervision as well as interventions to women in a SUDT residential treatment center that stabilize their substance use disorder and teach functional skills and behavior that enable the women to mitigate the reasons for entering SUDT residential treatment so that the women can quickly return to and live in their community. Nighttime workers will remain awake during the complete shift and follow all-night shift procedures. Salary is based on experience and educational credentials. Key Responsibilities:
Implements care and supervision interventions that include cross treatment settings, and care in the home and the community.
Assists women and families with activities, including but not limited to, community linkage, transportation, visitation, activities of daily living, education, and life skills acquisition.
Co-facilitate daycare services to parent(s) in the home.
Assist with food & educate parent(s) with nutritional foods and food safety.
Maintain positive interactions and model a positive parenting style.
Provide a healthy and safe environment for each resident as required.
Provides crisis counseling for participants as needed.
Conditions of Employment:
Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV printout (no more than 3 points).
Must pass a clear background check with DOJ & FBI.
CPR and First Aid Certified.
TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment.
Training:
RCS provides an in-depth onboarding and training orientation, which includes CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, introductions to all RCS departments, and other valuable trainings.
