Language Translation - Bi-cultural Spanish: $1.00 per hour
Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $1.00 per hour
Bimodal Multilingualism - ASL Sign Language: $2.00 per hour
Overview: Plans, directs, coordinates and participates in supervision and activities of the program and personnel including Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialists by implementing the program's mission and utilizing policies and procedures created for its success. Key Responsibilities:
Follows the State and County Mental Health guidelines for any service being provided. Provides/conducts authorized services only unless directed by the Clinical Director to provide additional unauthorized services.
Complies with HIPPA guidelines as outlined by state regulations. Complies and attends the ongoing employee training on Client Privacy and Personal Health Information.
Completes progress notes, reports, and logs according to stated mental health and/or agency policy and procedures on documentation requirements. Self-audits records before submitting documentation.
Submits corrected notes or information within 24-hours of the notification of errors as required by agency policy and procedures.
Develops and maintains relationships with the clinical team to support obtaining documentation and chart integrity.
Provides ongoing oversight and training in the areas of documentation and service delivery.
Monitors referrals and ensures compliance with access to behavioral health services in accordance with policies and procedures and state regulations.
Maintains collaborative partnerships with Clinical Supervisor and Residential Services supervisor to ensure successful coordination of services.
Participates in community meetings as required and assigned.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) with 4-year college; with four years related experience/or training in a direct therapeutic service; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred: Master’s degree (M.A.); with 2 years related experience/or training in a direct therapeutic service; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer experience with Medi-Cal Specialty Mental Health Services and medical billing software. Conditions of Employment:
Must have at least two years driving experience and be able to drive & use personal vehicle for work related purposes (100/300 Liability Insurance required)
Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV printout (no more than 3 points).
Must pass a clear background check with CACI, DOJ & FBI.
CPR and First Aid Certified.
TB Exam and Physical at the time of employment.
Training:
RCS provides an in-depth onboarding and training orientation, which includes CPR/First Aid, Crisis Communication/Pro-ACT, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Collaborative Problem Solving, introductions to all RCS departments, and other valuable trainings.
