Technical Inside Sales Representative - Industrial Process Equipment
About us Established Manufacturer's Representative Firm and Distributor seeks a Technical Sales Professional for the Puerto Rico and Caribbean territories. The candidate will assist end-users and fellow team members with product selection, proposals, and technical support towards the sale and services of Process Instrumentation, Valves, Boilers, and Heat Exchangers. Responsibilities:
Product selection, sizing, and proposal development among other tasks to support the sale of key specific product lines.
Prepare and send quotations based on information collected or provided by the customer.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing technical solutions
Collaborate with the sales team to pursue new business opportunities
Provide technical support and guidance throughout the sales process
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Update Quotations and Opportunities Forecast Reports
Travel required to USA factory training, Dominican Republic, and Caribbean region periodically.
Experience:
Bachelor or Associate Degree in Mechanical/Electronics technologies or equivalent experience is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, working with process industries, including industrial boilers, heat transfer equipment, and fluid flow systems.
Knowledge of process equipment such as valves, pumps, and mechanical piping specialties is required. Knowledge of field Instrumentation is a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations and proposal development
Ability to meet and exceed basic troubleshooting procedures, understand mechanical & electrical technologies, analyze, make inspections, and recommendations.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
