Student Worker - TRIO Talent Search Program

TRIO

RSU TRIO is currently accepting applications for a Student Worker for the TRIO Talent Search Program. TRIO is searching for a motivated student worker who is self-driven, organized, and is a good team player. The Talent Search Student Worker will provide office and clerical support to assist with the efficient operation of the TRIO Talent Search Program.

Essential Functions:

Perform general clerical duties;
Assist with projects;
Filing;
Answering phones;
Sorting mail;
Making copies;
Faxing;
Pick up mail and disseminate mail;
Assist with program activities, such as campus and cultural trips and summer camps;
Assist with marketing and recruitment efforts;
Create postcards, flyers, etc.;
Assist with program planning and operations;
Contact participants;
Participate in team meetings;
Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

Ability to collaborate with others to accomplish goals;
Possess strong oral and written communications skills;
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions in English;
Ability to represent TRIO in a professional manner, including dress, workplace behavior, etc.

Hours:

Ability to work between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.;
TRIO will offer flexibility based on student's course schedule each semester;
Student may work up to 15 hours per week.
