“Archon Resources is currently looking for a Support Technician to join one of our clients located in Tulsa, OK. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with an option to convert to full-time at any point during or after the contract. The conversion salary will depend upon experience and job performance.”

Job Overview:
Reporting to the IT Operations Supervisor, the IT Support will respond to all calls and emails concerning network, hardware, software issues or other end-user related problems in a timely fashion

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, remote support tools, and in-person visits.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals, including printers, scanners, and other related equipment.
  • Assist with technology-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
  • Maintain an inventory of all computer hardware and software assets, including license keys and maintenance agreements.
  • Create and maintain documentation for all support procedures, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and FAQs.
  • Provide training to end-users on the proper use of hardware and software systems.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the IT industry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in a technical support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Active Directory, remote support tools, and mobile devices.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
