“Archon Resources is currently looking for a Support Technician to join one of our clients located in Tulsa, OK. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with an option to convert to full-time at any point during or after the contract. The conversion salary will depend upon experience and job performance.”
Job Overview:
Reporting to the IT Operations Supervisor, the IT Support will respond to all calls and emails concerning network, hardware, software issues or other end-user related problems in a timely fashion
Key Responsibilities:
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, remote support tools, and in-person visits.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and mobile devices.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals, including printers, scanners, and other related equipment.
Assist with technology-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
Maintain an inventory of all computer hardware and software assets, including license keys and maintenance agreements.
Create and maintain documentation for all support procedures, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and FAQs.
Provide training to end-users on the proper use of hardware and software systems.
Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in the IT industry.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience in a technical support role, preferably in a corporate environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Active Directory, remote support tools, and mobile devices.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Must be able to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
