Account Manager – North America (Steel/Metal Industry Exp. Req.) - REMOTE Responsibilities
- Expand market share with strategic new accounts in assigned territory
- Drive sales growth in the steel, aerospace, and defense sectors
- Coordinate sales meetings and visit 5+ customers per month
- Utilize a consultative approach to understanding customer needs, pain points, and service gaps
- Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Operations, Marketing, & Technology teams
- Maximize profits by leveraging pricing and volume opportunities
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships
- Focus primarily on North America, with support for South America on a case-by-case basis
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 3+ years of technical B2B sales experience, including the steel or metal industry, is required
- Experience partnering with engineering teams to support customer needs is required
- Proven track record of growing sales through hunting and relationship development is required
- Ability to attend a 2-week new hire training in France + 1 additional trip per year is required
