Full-time Hourly Position starting at $19.50 DOE plus benefits. Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of: Hotel Albuquerque Old Town, Hotel Chaco, Sawmill District, The Clyde, and Nativo Lodge Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:

Work under direction of the Security Managers of Albuquerque: Hotel Albuquerque, Hotel Chaco, and Sawmill
Patrol all areas via patrol vehicle including parking lots and checking in with security officers at all sister properties during the shift.
Maintain a high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers, and guests.
Communicate regularly with leadership (Security Managers.) regarding security job assignments and required timeframe for proper workflow on property.
Reduce the opportunity for the commission of crimes through the use of thorough, preventive patrol and high visibility of security throughout the premises on a timely schedule.
Watch for unusual, illegal or dangerous activities occurring on the premises.
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
Address all complaints from guests / debriefs with team members in person whenever possible.
Promote and preserve the peace on premises to assure a comfortable and non- threatening environment for guests and employees.
Aid, or seek aid for, individuals who are in danger of physical harm, or in need of medical attention.
Respond to emergencies as prescribed in Emergencies Service Procedures.
Assist in developing and presenting security related programs.
Willingness to be cross trained to assist at any of our sister properties.
Other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of this position as needed at any of the properties.

Requirements:

Clean Driving record and background check.
Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to multitask.
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights.
Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
Minimum of 2 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; security management ideal, hospitality experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
CPR Certification & Driver’s License Required, Alcohol Servers License preferred.
