Gives direction to other Security Officers and performs a wide range of Safety and Security duties providing a safe and secure environment for the Organization. Exhibits the values of F.I.R.S.T. (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort
The task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require performing supplemental tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues. Normal stress involved, heavy stress may be involved on occasion. Subject to burns, cuts, strains, abrasions, electric shock, exposure to minimal danger in restraining persons who may pose a threat to Associates, patients or guests. Must be able to pass color blindness test.
Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents
Education: Associates degree or five (5) to seven (7) years relative experience, specialized in Security and Law Enforcement preferred. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the police, military, or security services. Minimum Three (3) years in a supervisory role preferred.
EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Must know the operation of and how to utilize all the EMH Security Equipment. For EMH emergency situations.
