Essential Duties
Duties fall into these categories of work:
Scheduling
- Utilizes Peoplesoft, Salesforce and Ad Astra to create course schedule and room assignments for multiple academic programs
- Communicates with external ASU stakeholders, such as ASU Classroom Scheduling and ASU academic units
- Manages the creation of student and teacher schedules, ensures accuracy and troubleshoots
- Uses a variety of programs and systems to and create and analyze reports
- Implements process improvements and update process guides
Assessment support
- Coordinates with Student Services about students and facilitates access to testing platform; troubleshooting technology issues related to Global Launch testing
- Coordinates with University Office of Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness to monitor deadlines to clean data; communicate with Global Launch program managers regarding teaching assignments and course dates
Event and resource management
- Coordinates event schedules, maintains calendars, communicates with internal Global Launch stakeholders
- Organizes and updates a variety of digital and physical resources including google team drives, resource library, teacher desk copies.
- Facilitates communication with outside vendors and ASU bookstore representatives
Academic personnel support
- Supports annual faculty hiring process
- Assists with student worker hiring and time administration
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three (3) years of related experience; OR, Seven (7) years of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ASU scheduling policies and systems (Ad Astra, Peoplesoft)
- Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM)
- Experience with Google Drive and Calendar, Adobe, Outlook, Slack, Microsoft Office, and Dropbox
- Experience creating, running and analyzing detailed reports
- Evidence of high quality work that requires attention to detail and organization
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with basic project management tools
- Ability to work effectively in an environment subject to changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Evidence of effective communication skills in a cross-cultural environment
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with faculty, staff, and students
- Experience in coordinating and prioritizing work and activities of others

Working Environment
- Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse
- Frequently required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work
- Regular activities require ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts
