Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a medical/surgical setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-hospital care instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Skills
- Experience in critical care transport, tube feeding, PICU, gastric lavage, catheter care, senior care, ostomy care, sterile processing
- Ability to phlebotomize and perform venipuncture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Current RN license and BLS certification
